[IMG] What do you guys usually do with the various gems you find in the course of the journey? In my first campaign, I hoarded them, but in my new campaign I'm considering selling them, especially as I'm a little short on money at my present stage. (Too bad you can't trade the jewels for goods and services, eh?)

Sell them all. :p At least in BG2 you could use them to craft items.

[IMG] If you intend to complete a game in Normal mode and then import into HoF, hoard a few of the higher priced gems. Also other high priced stuff.
Since you start a new game with items but no money, it helps to have some stuff to sell so you could buy the more interesting items early on.

Some of the gems are actually needed for a quest or two. But you should find plenty of the ones you need in the area they are used.

The only gems you need are 2 diamonds but as that's to mend Oswalds ship at the Icewall you don't need to hoard them at all

This reply doesn't make sense does it?
