[IMG]Greywardens seem to be first up with a lengthy first impressions review on the latest DLC for Dragon Age. Here's a sneaky peek:

Anyone who has spent time on the receiving end of an ogre’s bone-crushing attacks, or found themselves suddenly surrounded by a fiendish party of shrieks will recognize the basic abilities your darkspawn thralls possess. But there are new twists here as well, like the blight wolf’s terrorizing howl, or the healing spells of the hurlock emissary.

Party approval is a bit different in this DLC. In addition to plying favor with gifts, you’ll have to take a strong hand to win the respect of your fellow darkspawn. The more of Denerim’s defenders you kill, and the more force you demonstrate, the more loyal your thralls will be.

Don’t like a party member? There’s no need to worry about upsetting them. As horde vanguard, just execute your least favorites as an example to all. A severe reaction, to be sure, but perhaps a breath of fresh air to anyone who’s grated against Alistair’s whining, Wynne’s lectures, or Leliana’s babble.

Catch up on the whole thing over at Greywardens.
