When starting a new mod (especially one that begins at a higher-level), I like to use one of those mods that lets you equip yourself and even make custom weapons if you want (and have the gold).

Of course, some mods strip you of all items when you start, which is kind of unfair...

So, what I was wondering is if there is a way to import items or edit items "in game"...meaning, after you've already started the mod.

So far, I haven't seen anything that suggests you can do that, but maybe I'm just not searching right...

    Thanks!

Not without a DM, no. Unless you want to edit the module via the toolset, that is (which is remarkably easy to do).

I haven't messed with the DM aspects before, but can a DM log into ANY module and create a new item there?

Or, more to the point, can I log into the mod (as DM ) and create an item and leave it somewhere, then load the mod (as PC) and pick up the item?

If so, I'm ok with that process...

No, unless you have a second computer which you can play through. You'll still need to create the item in the toolset to bring it in with your DM avatar (or get it another way) - so in the end the easiest way is probably just editing the mod in the toolset.
