[IMG] Okay, basically what I'd like to do is download a nice, simple-to-use program for free that isn't a trial version, that will allow me to create moving images that I can save as a .gif file. I have pictures that I would like to link together in a moving sequence (kind of like a mini-slideshow, I hope you get what I mean) and add text to, and create some images that are animated. Is there something that will allow me to do this, and if so can somebody please point me in the right direction and give me their opinions on it? Thankies in advance for any replies, it's really appreciated! :)

Ooh okay, thanks! I'll give it a go! :D

EDIT: I can't find the actual program, I've got something called GTK + 2 runtime environment setup, but I can't run it as a program...Where can I download the actual program? Please can you give me an exact link? Sorry to be so thick, I just can't work out which one to do, and some of them just open up a page in my documents or whatever...

I've found GIMP about as counter-intuitive as possible... I have no doubt that it's powerful, but if it was confusing for me, and I've been using graphics programs for over a decade, I can well assume that it will leave most newbies completely clueless.

Well I've managed to work it out and made some .gifs, which is what I was aiming to do, so thanks for the link. :)
