I was playing Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter with the newest patch and no xp cap mod on Windows 7 and when I finished the prologue the game freezed and showed me a message "An assertion failed in ChVideo.cpp, line 8925.". Then I tried to go through it again and the same message popped up. Tried to find ChVideo so I could fix it, but didn't find it.

    How can I fix it?

I think it had something to do with needing to configure your video options to match what your screen is actually using. Especially in color depth, but I might be remembering wrong.
