Since I can't get past the Batha battle, I tried to use god mode without much success.

The instructions say to right click every character before using any cheat, to have the effect pertain to that character. I've been typing:

    `
    DebugMode 1
    dm_god

After I type this I get the "success" message. I right clicked each character and typed this, with "success" appearing after each. Yet they still die within seconds.

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Judging from my experience in NWN, it will only make you god-like, not your party.

Which is sort of consequent an in-character view, after all, which god requires a party to win? Look at it from a roleplaying perspective.

PS: To end the god mode, in my experience ending DebugMode or loading a new game was insufficient. I needed to re-launch NWN altogether.

The God Mode does work for the entire party and here's how it works:

    1. Left click a character before bringing up the console.
    2. Type: `
    DeBugMode 1
    dm_god
    3. Exit the console by typing ` again
    4. Left click next character...bring up console again...etc. Do this for all characters and the entire party is unstoppable. When you reload a game, god mode is automatically turned off.
