Conlan´s Son Subquest Error ??

I have just completed chapter 2 Dragons Cave

On level 2 of the caves, you find 4 children in a small cave guarded by some spiders.

one of them i Conlan´s Son, who says that his father is "Ohh so brave and all that crap", you can then say either that you have cleared the way back out or something about you will come back.

Well I hadn´t cleared level 2 yet, so i told him to wait. I then went and killed all the trolls, spider and the evil priests, after killing the priests you meet the missing priest fra kuldahar plus a lot of villagers.

The priest offers to stand guard while you rest, after resting for 8 hours, the villagers were gone and when I went to check, so was conlan´s son.

Strangely the villagers on level 1 was still there, thanking me for killing the lizard men

Back in town Conlan didn´t thank me, nor did anyone else, and Mother E.... the missing priest was still missing from the temple ?

I concluded that you propably had to clear out the whole of the caves, so I went on down
eventually comming to X..... something the snake queen.
After leaving her like a Porqupine (arrows+2)
And getting the Gem, I went to town hoping for a big reward......

I killed all those Orog things and talked to Arundel (both of them)

But no reward !!!

I finally had to pick the lock on Conlan´s chest to get the hammer (Hey I earned IT !!)

But now I can´t find the severed hand on my map, and I´m beginning to worry that perhaps something has gone wrong with the game

Anyone outthere know something ????

 

hmm odd bug w/ Coloan's son. not sure what's up with that. as for the Severed Hand, just scroll down to the bottom of the World Map and you will see the icon for it.

 

I think you have to tell Egenia to gather up the kids and escort them back to Kuldahar instead of asking her to watch your group while they rest.

I did that, and everything turned out okay.

 

i'm having problems with that snake queen since i've run out of arrows +2 what should i do

 

She's tough. I used fireballs and web/grease and focused on her minions first with summoning spells, missiles and melee. Then I creamed her wioth magic missile and melee blows with my front liners. This was my second go through. The first time took awhile. If you are out of arrows, just rest somewhere and you might have more archers come upon you, then you can take theirs. You can't buy magic arrows in this game, unfortunately.
