Can I take it for granted that TofEE will be better than PofR?

You know, I had actually been looking forward to PofR. And, I asked for it as a christmas present from my brother. He bought it for me. As we all know, PofR turned out to be a horrific piece of crap. I felt ripped off, and guilty towards my brother at the same time.

Now, I'm hoping that TofEE won't turn into a similar debacle. So I've a few concerns on my mind.

    1) Turn-based combat per se isn't a bad thing. But PofR turned it into regular torture sessions. How will TofEE's turn-based combat system be better?

    2) Will movement in the game world and auto-mapping be better? This was one of the most painful aspects of PofR.

3)Will the game's content actually involve me instead of make me want to throw my computer out the window?

If anybody has scoops or tidbits, that'd be great.

Well, if you'd read the SP interview that's pinned in the sticky in this forum you'd get answers to more or less all of your questions.
