Changing NPCs classes/kits....

    Does it mess the NPCs up... I did it once a long time ago and from what I could tell, they stopped having dialogue, and although i want to add some kits to certain chars i still want ythe banters. So does it mess them up or will it be ok and I just made a mistake before...?

    I've once before changed some of the NPC kits with ShadowKeeper, and don't recall it having any effect on the NPC banter. I could be wrong though. You could try to speed up the banter too, by either changing the variables or download a banter accelerater to see if it will have any effect.

    After numerous NPC class changes, I almost certainly guerentee it does not effect any NPC's banters or dialogs.

    Yes, it doesn't. If you mess around with the Global Variables tab in SK, that WILL mess up your game. Stay far far away from it.

    As long as you stick to just changing the classes, attributes etc without messing with the in-game settings, you should be alright.

    I changed him once as a barbarian and there was no problem, suited him too.
    Next I'm going to change back his favoured enemy to gnoll (it should be possible with BG tutu).

    If you're interested "some guy" went and made a little weidu mini-mod that kits Minsc over to a berserker without changing his class. That way when Minsc is constantly referred to as a Ranger it won't seem silly. It's available for download here at SP.
