[IMG] Gday all. This is a meaningless and minutely interesting post so dont read it unless you are interested in mages.

Those you you how are complete mage nuts like myself will have probably tried the following ridiculous "power-gaming" tactic only to be disapointed with the subsequent bug instead.

I am always trying to maximise my potential to destroy my opponents with my mage and one of the methods I would employ often would be to set up a chain contingency spell with 3 Horrid Wilting spells. This was quite devestating as most of you would know as the effects stack. However, I soon got bored of this an decided to expand my horizons by looking at different Chain Contingency "Combos".

I noticed that when you fight Irenicus in the "Ascension Mod" that he casts a Chain Contingency with a Simularcrum, a Project Image and a Horrid Wilting simultaniously. This got me thinking - "what would happen if you used a Chain Contingency with a Mislead spell and 2 Project Images?".

Well, you would indeed have your mage invisible with 3 clones of yourself, two of which able to cast spells, at least theoretically. I then thought that I would cast another chain contingency on each of my projected imaged clones with some offensive spells. Once again this worked but this is where the bugs occurred. The Projected Image's Chain Contingencies would not allow you access to your own spells but only access to your Druid's spells (if you had one in your party)!!! So I used 3 Insect Swarms or Creeping Dooms in the Projected Image's Chain Contingency instead! Despite being able to do this, your Projected Images would not be able to cast any normal spells or Sequencers. Wierdness....
