Running the .tp2 file using WeiDU's weinstall terminal command, I can only get to language selection and then it gives me this error message:
ERROR: could not match a directory in ./dialog.tlk
ERROR: problem parsing TP file [setup-cdtweaks.tp2]: Not_found
I have a dialog.tlk in my base folder, as well as in my /lang/eng_us/ but it gives me this error. I tried moving the files to a folder that was reccommended online (~/data/00783/lang/eng_us/). I got this mod to work for Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, but I don't remember it giving me this error. I'm on Linux Mint, newest version, if that helps. Any help is appreciated greatly.

No worries, hope it helps you solve your problems.
Thinking about it, incorrectly installed tweak mods might also be the case for that weird problem you were having importing your character.

I thought of that too. It's been giving me some odd errors, mostly on item descriptions, saying something like "Invalid: 70883" or something like that.
Edit: Just checked, it was 34145

Sure sounds like some files did not get updated properly, so your string references are out of whack and referring to wrong or non-existing data.
I'd start out with a clean installation before reinstalling the mods again.
