    [​IMG] In an effort to help speed up the site, I've implemented the CloudFlare content delivery network, which will basically be caching certain elements like images, javascript, CSS etc. and hopefully make things load faster since these page elements will be served from locations closest to every individual visitor.

    It will take up to 24 hours to kick in for everyone and potential problems with it are possible, so report any issues here.

    It appears that the CDN caching is at least partially complete. I realize it's a slower period on the site right now, but I definitely am seeing performance gains. :thumb:

    All in all there seems to be a marginal improvement in performance since going with the CDN. Sometimes pages are still taking longer to load than they should, but this seems to have been a step in the right direction, performance wise.

    I have seen a few scattered "500 Internal Server Error" messages since this change was made. I can't say that I've seen the message prior to this, so they are likely related to the change. I got two of them yesterday, but I was on the go and didn't have a chance to note the times. One happened while connecting from my iPhone. One happened from my laptop. Retrying a few moments later was successful in both cases.

    You're right on the money. While it's saving us a lot of bandwidth, it's made little difference in terms of performance. We'll be moving to a new, more powerful server before the end of the year most likely but until then I'll continue trying to improve the situation on the current one. Right now we're getting occasional overload spikes for no apparent reason that I can't pin down to any specific cause - those are the cause of the ISEs.

    Getting a ton of errors these days. Generally can't get to a screen without at least one error and reload routine.

    Really, same error as above? I get one occasionally but nowhere near as bad...
