Casting for a What-If Baldurs Gate 2 movie? Any thoughts?

I HIGHLY doubt they'd ever make a movie, but if so, who would you want to see play who in Baldurs Gate 2 film? In this age of makeup and digital tech, not a problem to make someone like John Rhys-Davies a dwarf, so, who do you think could play the various NPC's in the film?

Jackie Chan as Yoshimo
Laurence Fishburn as Valygar
Nicholas Cage as Cernd

I'll think of more when Im not so tired.

 

The same crew as in the D&D movie, it was absolutely amazing! And Arnold Schwarzenegger can be Sarevok.

 

Actually I want to see something like Final Fantasy - the movie.
Just not something like "epic" LotR.

I mean, those non-existing people from FF show more emotions than real people in LotR.

I think P Torment has much better story for a movie than BG I or II, and the atmosphere could be grat, but for BG movie, i would rather see Vin Diesel (Pitch Black)as Sarevok or Minsk. It's not that i dont like Arnie, but he lost that "allmighty" feeling while acting Kindergarten cop or similar (that was funny one!)

And i would be thrilled if they would make connan barbarian 3 with Arnie, then maybe he could play Khalid or Minsk but not some bad guy!

 

The whole post was sarcasm, Dungeons & Dragons is one of the crappiest movies I've seen (And I can count them with one hand), it had lousy actors, the story wasn't too hot, etc. etc. In some parts it looked like a local LARP group (like the town with the thieves' guild) had gotten together as nobody else wanted the role. Not too hot. There was only one good actor in the whole movie (Profion) and what about the ending? The characters transformed into strands of red light and flew away, without any explanations.

And no, I wasn't serious about having Arnold in the movie, either.

 

Anyone who thinks Jeremy Irons is a bad actor needs to seriously revise their standards!

I think Van Diesel would be a very effective Sarevock. He is such a cool guy! I think Jeremy Irons would make a god Irenicus, maybe even Rickman.... has to be British and the her has to be America, just how it works

 

Tough one. These are just ideas mostly based on looks. Not enough time to analyze their acting skills.

Minsc: Arnold Schwarzenegger (as long as he isn't insulted by the role. he'd be perfect)
Sarevok: Sylvester Stallone (couldn't come up with anyone else)
Valygar: Vin Diesel
Yoshimo: Chow-Yun Fat

I totally agree with total. *g* That man is totally cool. Arnie IS a kindergarden cop next to him.


EDIT; I thought it was Jeremy Irons who put the voice for Jon Irenicus already. So it would be natural for him to act as Irenicus too.

Keldorn: Sean Connery (old, wise, and sounds cool)
Minsc: The Rock (strong, stupid, probably carries a hamster..."Can you smell what the Rock is cooking Boo?!?!")

 

I'd say Vin Diesel would make an excellent Minsc.

I have this mental image of Alan RIckman as Edwin, for some strange reason (Blame the Harry Potter movie and the fact that I spennt half the night just listening to his voice in the movie...)

Alyson Hannigan as Imoen is a good idea as well.

And Juliet Landau could make a good Bodhi
