can't help boy resurrect his dad...

    I have installed the offical patch and the baldurash fixpack, but they don't seems to fix the problem... is there any other patch that can?

    I think you need to actually use a Rod of Ressurection on the guy in-game, but it's been a while since my last ToB.

    Felinoid is right. You have to actually use Rod of Resurrection on the guy. Although there are some bugs around the event like disappearing of the deceased body if you left the body remained dead or the guy not dying at the first place...these were the bugs I experienced but properly the guy should be dead and you should actually resurrect him with a spell or a wand...

    Are u sure? I remember just choosing the option to use the rod of resurrection(of course you must have one in the first place...) when talking to the boy will automatically solve the side-quest...

    Another option is to get any (IIRC even rangers can do it) Divine magic-user to talk to the boy and tell him you will resurrect his dad.
