Is there any time when it is possible to (try to) kill Melissan before the end of the game, for example in Saradush? I can't remember if there's any time when she's not talking to you. Has anyone tried it?

[IMG] i wouldnt try it because it would surely ruin the game and prevent you from finishing TOB

Of course. But on the other hand it would cause her own plans severe problems. I imagine the designers have put things in to stop you killing her, and wondered if anyone had seen them.

[IMG] How could you? Every time you see her, it's instant dialogue mode, not to mention you don't even see her that many times.

You can attack Melissan at least one time before the final battle, and that's when you've jusy arrived in Saradush and fight Gromnir's guards. She will, however, teleport away and return once the battle is over. She can't be killed until the end.

I don't think Bioware will allow you to do so.

Remember in SoA, Imoen is the main plot to continue the chapter. During the first chapter in Irenicus's Cellar, you can actually attack her.. But she just won't die as she got kinda protection belt.

So similar case here. Those genius in Bioware had considered that players will kill the plot-characters and they'll surely do something to stop it! :)

No, just to give an example, has anyone tryed to accually KILL irenicus in the Asylem. Try to ctrl-y him, that will do about 1100 damage to him. he doesn't die. same thing wil mellisan. there is some kind of game setting that makes a char invincible. But there is one way. If somehow desintagrate works. i kills them, but the pile talks to you and they do show up later.

  8. Don't think so. I've tried; it doesn't work no matter how much damage you inflict upon her.
