I just downloaded TotL from our marvelous download site in SPS Private Forum. (well worth the small cost :thumb: )

I decided to import characters rather than start fresh. I started playing when I realized they were way too powerful. They are walking through everything as if it were a cabbage patch. I thought I would use Dalekeeper to downgrade them. I can change a lot of things but don't see anyway to lower the level. Could someone tell if there is a way and I'm just missing it? I know I should have played HoFM but thought since ToTL was new to me I would play a regular game.

    bastards... j/k

anyways, I guess that to reduce levels you would have to set the level to what you want, remove xp and remove hp and class abilites gained from the levels you no longer want

Though i am not 100%, from my experiences with Dalekeeper, i do not think there is a way to lower the level of your characters without doing it manually as someone just stated above :)

Thanks for the info. I'm only at Vale of Shadows so have several options.

    1) Do the above.

    2) Leave it alone.

    3) Remove a couple of characters. I like to play with five or six just for the pretense of role-playing.
The problem there I would have to Multi-class more characters. I have the following Bard,cleric/mage, Ranger, Fighter/thief, Fighter/druid, Fighter.

    4) Start over in HoFM.

    5) Start over with my fighter and fighter/thief and create some low level characters.

The fighter and fighter/thief are my own beloved characters. The others I imported from the game. Its those that are causing most of the problem. Any suggestions welcome.

I'd go for #4. Makes sense.

Thanks Tal. I just had four hours to think about it. A sudden thunder storm kicked me off the Internet and PC. I will try HoFM.
