Bypassing firmware crippling of USB connectivity

    Here's the deal... I'm dealing with a phone whose USB connectivity has been disabled in the firmware, meaning I cannot interface with the phone unless I can bypass the firmware.

    I remember that on some Nokia models, hidden stuff could be enabled by shorting out pins, and I just unlocked my V3 with V3r firmware via testpoint, basically grounding the testpoint in order to switch the phone in diagnostic mode.

    Any way of bypassing this perticular restriction? If this could be taken care of, I could easily reflash the phone with generic firmware, then re-flex it and sell it for some bucks.

    I think if someone can answer that question we should all give him/her positive rep for being a genius. It took me twenty minutes to figure out how to change the clock in my car when we switched to daylight savings time :)
