I've tried the Black&White forums all over the place, but no-one posts anywhere near as often as here, so hopefully you guys might be able to help.

I'm on land 5 of black and white. With no food or wood miracles, it makes expanding very tough. Basically, i take the fireball miracle from the dispenser and add the mana to my prayer store. Then, i'm making lots of forrests. But, this is taking forever, and my influence doesn't seem to be getting anywhere far. So far, i've been on this land for about 3 hours of play.
I try to build abodes, but then everyone wants loads more food. I try to build crop fields, but in the time it takes to make that, my population increases to the point where people are homeless, and i'm in a viscious circle.
Oh, and i send my creature to take over the village with the spiritual shield and because his alignment is changing, he doesn't bother trying to impress anyone.
Anyone else got a good tactic that worked for them?

Keep creture on leash of compassion and take over to the Japanese village and take it with the creature.

In land one if you helped the Missionaries you have another village - you can make missionaries with the time cheat - alt+1 then grab someone, go slightly out your influence and pause immediatly, go to a village unpause and drop them - instant missionary!

There are plenty of fish around. Save scaffolds for three-bit homes, a creche and other civic buildings.

The Fireball Extreme can be used to throw over villages or a sneaky way - throw them at Nemesis temple - it will shoot off at his own buildings and you won't lose alingment.

Get your creature around the coast of the village with Spiritual Shield, one is quit near you you can destroy the stone your self into the ocean or fireball the man then throw the stone at the one farthest away to knowck it over, the creature can deal with the middle one as the third is on a mountain it's up to you.

Use a lot of creature miracles and teach your creature them - he then can freeze Nemesis lion which often chases you

    *don't hurt the wonders!*
Nemesis will when you take his villages

Don't make breeders. Use the pause trick to nick Nemesis' followers for your own - or even better make his people into missionaries for you! Works with Lethys too!

And at night make sure your creature is well fed and sleeps in his pen. The curse is less reactive then.

Hope some of this helps :thumb:

Sounds useful. Will have to give those things a try when i get a bit of free time.

One problem though - due to the curse, my creature can't be bothered to impress the other villages. D'oh. Have to see if i can go into skirmish to get him to relearn to impress people.
