First off, I'd like to apologize if I perchance put this post on the wrong part of the forum.

Secondly, a bit of a description of what I'm looking for.

I'm currently a student taking 3D game animation, and one course in this program is Interface design. For this course I'm taking Baldurs Gate 1 and re-designing the interface for the Iphone 3GS.

This is where the Boards o' Magick come in.

I need to create persona's of people who I'm targeting this interface for, and since BG1 has been around for a while the players know now without blinking an eye, the design aspects they liked and what they didn't. I'm hoping to borrow your expertise and your opinions friends.

So feel free to post-reply your answers, or email them to me at: jake "underscore" dickenscheid "at" hotmail.com

The only pre-requisite to this is that you've played the game before. Preferably all the way through, but at least enough that you had a good sense of the game.

Some Questions I'm looking for answers to:

What did you like about the game and it's interface?

What didn't you like about the game and its interface?

What "worries" do you have about an Iphone adaptation of BG1?

    What hobbies do you have?

What is your preferred method of finding information? (forums, search engine, Wikipedia)

How computer literate are you on a scale of 1 - 10 (10 being something akin to a reverse programmer, 1 being Ellis from Left 4 Dead)

    How old are you?

    Are you male or Female?

    What interests do you have?

Alright, so I assume you get the basic Idea. I'm trying to build a basic "persona" of what type of person I'm designing for. a little "generalization" I can use as a place to start finding what I need to incorporate, and vice versa.

Thank you so much for your time. :D

    Jake

[This is probably the right place for the post, but you really should be careful about putting in email addresses like that. I fixed it so that a human could easily ready it, but a bot will probably have problems - dmc]
