Berserking Minsc?

    [​IMG] I am curious to know: those of you that have played the game with Minsc, did you regularely use his berseking ability?

    I am playing with him in my party and never use this ability. In fact, I think it is really useless, not being able to control your party member during a fight, especially when the fight ends and Minsc want to go on fighting with everything that's moving!! :evil: :aaa:

    Well there was only one way I was able to safely get Misnc to go berserk and not prefer to chop up my party members first. Being that he is a ranger, when he's wearing leather armor, he can hide in shadows and sneak around. I'd have him sneak up on a large group of enemies and berserk him. While he's going crazy in the middle of his opponents, the rest of the party members fire missle weapons and spells into the throng. When the battle is over, he's far enough from the party members that he doesn't attack them (if he's still standing), and he gets some time to chill out.

    Doný think so.. Maybe protection of evil would help.. another option in a tough battle or when Minsc is the only fighter in Melee is to beserk and when all enemies are killed is to cast hold or charm Minsc...

    I gave him the cursed beserking sword and sent him to the gnoll stronghold just for his racial hatred of gnolls, he kicked ass and I just stood back and watched!:)

    does minsc fight any better when beserked?

    all it seems to do is make you lose controll of him and have him deal damage to himself.

    ah well boo rules even if his abilty dosent

    Totaly unrelated, but did you know that Boo is not just cute and cuddly? He's alos the secret behind Minsc's Berserker Rage!!!

    Used GK to get rid of Boo and open up a slot once... and I had NO MORE BERSERKING POWER! I hacked it out with Inf Explorer... and IEEP and found out that Boo's equiped abilities is it gives the equiper the berserer rage Innate ability! I then equiped boo on my entire party... Rangers and hamsters UNITE!
