    [IMG] Hi everybody,

I just installed the banter pack. Jan gave me his newly invented boots, I gave them to Mazzy just for fun, she used them, transformed and changed back after a while. But now every 2 or 3 seconds some blue clouds appear around her head. Is this a bug? A feature? How do I get rid of this? Things I tried: Cast HEAL and REMOVE CURSE on her. Both didn't work.

    Any ideas?

edit: I am using Banter Packs V3

The effect should wear off after a while. At least, it's meant to. :)

Hm, "after a while"? Could you be a bit more specific? The effect now lasts for 2 In-game-days which in this case equals to 2 real-time-hours.

I looked at the boots with nearInfinity™ and it seems the duration is set to 600. If this means seconds, the clouds should have been long gone.

I tried also removing the j#jboot variable from the savegame but the effect is still there.

    Any idea what's going on?

Not exactly, it was a bit of a throwaway gag. I'll ask the item maker to take a look at your post and re-evaluate his work and see if it's something that should be wearing off by now.

You might be able to remove it by editing the character data in the save in NI or SK.

    jcompton,

thanks for the tip. I managed to locate the effect with SK. In the affects table there where 2 entries of type 0x00D7 using recource SPDISPM2 and J#JANSHU. I think I removed the boots while Mazzy was in Jan's form and put them on again forcing a second entry. This might have started the timer for a second time as well.

A closer look reveals a time value of 5582404 for the first, and a value of 5705632 for the second. What this means I have no idea ...

After I deleted the 2 entries the clouds were gone and I won't put on those boots again ... :D
