[IMG] I just read a headline about a Bagel E-Mail Worm that is spreading fast. Anyone know the scoop on this and how we can avoid it?

    Thanks in advance.

I read on Yahoo news that it comes with an attachment containing random characters that should not be opened.
It's similar to sobig and mimail so they probably got a fix for it already.
I was thinking that if it sets up an invisible email proxy then a decent firewall will stop it from accessing the net from an infected machine. I have found a couple of weird little virus things because I have my firewall set to prompt me for every program that tries to access the net.
    Anyone know?
But then I just figured out how to make links like the one below, so I'm not too smart with comps.

    Read all about it here

Same old same old, watch out for e-mails with attachments, nothing unusual. Unless it's from a very good friend, i flush those type of e-mails anyway. :D

The cool thing about the latest virii and worms is that they update themselves over the Internet, even P2P is used, the latest 'beauty' called serotonin even mutates, search for a white paper called "The year the mafia moved in". It also explains some interesting developments on the dark side of the Internet. *spooky*
