    Hi mates,
well I've started playing BG2 back in the days and had a blast with it until I had to uninstall it :( I've kept my save and I'm planing to reinstall and continue playing.

Thing is I'm quite sure I had some mods installed, like Fixpack and perhaps some more. Problem is I don't recall any of them :(

So would that affect my save? I mean not having same mods (having less or having more than when I made the save)

I would hate to start over as it would mean I had to ask you guys for advice when creating a char aaaaaaall over again and all that stuff, and no one would like that now would it :p

    Was on chapter 3-4 IIRC

If you install WeidU mods correctly, some of them will work, and some will be simply turned off. As far as I'm doing it, I don't see serious problems.

It's never a particularly good idea to try and play an existing game in an altered mod environment, and yes, there are mods which will cause you trouble down the line if they're suddenly yanked out of the game. If it were me, I'd restart just to be on the safe side.

If you had mod kits, items, NPCs, quests or spells, I guess they may crash the game. But if you only had small fixes, or to be more precise, tweaks, then I think they should not crash the game. But better be safe than sorry, why don'T you get the same mods? Can't you remember what you had?

Sadly I can't, I barely remember the storyline, its been at least 6-10 months. Medicine I'm taking (lower back pain) isn't helping me remember in the least :(

Well its on your head guys :) Now you have to spell everything out for me once again :p

Will be back with questions no worries ;)
