Hey all. I'm wondering if any of you use AutoCAD. I'm working with it in school and at home and I'm pretty good I think. I made a staff and a sword at school and they look pretty good. My home version is old and not to great but it works for castles. Well this topic is pretty pointless unless any of you use it also. So does any one use it?

Well, my bother studies architecture and is using AutoCad.
It's really a good program, my bro made some nice stuff with it and a rendering program...
I'd like to learn it, and make a gothic church or a castle with it.
Or an ISD! That would be great! :tie:

Yep you can make really neat things with it. I'm working on the lighting to my castle right now. Latter I hope to really add some detail. But right now I'm stuck useing basic colors.

[IMG] i used to use it until i got WinXP

Its pretty hard to get your head round all of the functions and tools, and i can never get PAPERSPACE and LAYOUT to print what i want it to.

It's a pretty damn good tool though.

I don't use it, but I do install and maintain it for an architectural/engineering firm. 14, 2000, and 3.3 architectural desktop

It must be doing something right to be the industry standard, I suppose.

DragonRider Skyward post your work on some website so that we can all see it.

If you have no website to post it on, you can do it on deviantArt for free.
