The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think say or do. It is more important than appearance, or skill. It will make or break a company, social site or home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change the past. We cannot change the fact that people will act a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our attitudes.

That's true. Long term attitude makes all the difference either in a positive or negative way depending on how you wish to direct your life.

Yeah man, couldn't agree more about that. Attitude can change everything.

@Sorvo - What I don't get is that you chose to write this in the Alley of Dangerous Angles - so how do you find this topic controversial? Also it sounds great and something I totally agree with, but when I talked to you in chat on the same day you had posted this, you did not seem at all positive about some situations in your life. It's good you recognise that a positive attitude will get you a million times farther, but have you implemented that into your life?

@Harbourboy - Shhh, some people here will openly admit they're old and some people were already born old and some people don't age that much, like me :). It sounds harsh though, when you bring up out loud :D :D

I only posted that because I found it rooting through some shit I have. It sounds great but yeah, I have a pessimistic attitude. Always think the worst, then you will never be disappointed,
