Just curious if anyone uses this permanent potion. This is NOT the one from Battlesquares that gives you a 2 for cost of 1 rather it costs 2 Constitution and gives 1 Wisdom. I think the only reason you would drink it would be if you are pushing for 1 higher DC on your divine spells. But if your Wisdom ended up odd (after the potion) it wouldn't help you so you would either have to plan out your stat speccing and what level you get by the end (i.e. do I get 16th level?) and your + Wisdom gear or alternatively you could save it in your pack and drink it towards the end of the game when you know if it will give you the extra 1 DC. And then what class would use DC divine spells? Druid? Cleric of Talos or Lathander with some other save or else cleric stuff?

Also just a 'bonus' or tag on question does the book of Tending Ivy have any quest or anything game related? Or even as an 'Easter egg' related to pop culture?

Wisdom gives clerics and druids bonus spells in addition to greater DC. Not so much for paladins or rangers. So it might still be worth it for a couple extra spells.

Also, it's been a while since I played, but I thought the "tending ivy" gave you a clue about something in the game. Maybe I'm remembering wrong. I'm going to look up the text.

EDIT: Ok, maybe not. The book seems worthless.
