You can get it and its multiplayer expansion for ten bucks from Steam.

I got Battlefield 2 last week but quickly became tired of having to wait eight minutes to load onto a server only to find that there were too many players for my PC to handle or Punk Buster kicking me for something stupid like waiting ten seconds more to join than the admin was expecting.

I hate spending 75% of my free gaming time in load screens and usually just wind up playing BF2 solo.

There's only about 8 of us playing Dark Messiah online (at the time I go on) but the net aspect is a blast. It's a first person kinda game, reminiscent of Hexen and the more kills you get the more you can upgrade your character's skill and spells during mid play.

Games last about a half hour (typical capture the flag kinda stuff) but it's real quick and easy to load up and join a game.
