[IMG] Awright, I'm not ashamed to admit it: I got stuck and needed to, um, help things along for myself. I went to the PC Gameworld site and looked up the "CHEATERSDOPROSPER" icewind.ini edit cheat and followed the directions. Unfortunately, when I put the cheat codes in after [ctr]+[tab] it says, "Nice try, cheater!". Is there a chance that I did this incorrectly or does the cheat not work after all? This a brand-spankin' new copy of Icewind Dale bought three weeks ago with the Heart of Winter installed immediately. When I play it says that it's version 1.4 . I also can't seem to get the Godslaw Cheat Script to work, either. I am running Windows XP if it helps to know. Any ideas or any other cheats I can use?

[IMG] Well for starters, look for that stuff here at SP instead of at other sites. It's easier to help you that way.

There are are a number of cheat lists on SP that also tell you how to enable the console. The problem is that you're using the cheat enabler which only works for IWD, not for HoW. Go to http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/IWD/howcheats.php and read the correct instructions there.

As for "Godslaw Cheat Script" I have no idea what that is. Where'd you get it?

    Getyourcheaton is the new line.

Everything else is the same. There's a few new commands though.
