About to install HOW, but got a question

    [​IMG] hello.
    i just got HOW. Most My party is on level 9. Except My cleric, level 7. Well here is my question. If i install How in the middle of my game, will i get the new spells. Will they be automatically be put in my priest book? And the new spells will have scrolls so my bard can learn the new mage spell. right? i think this is more of opinoin question. but so i had no need for a mage cuase i have my bard. will i need a mage or
    am i just fine with a bard??

    This is how I remember it: New priest spells will show up after you level up. New items will be in stores you have not visited yet. You will at least be able to find the new spell scrolls in the expansion if nowhere else.

    I never used a Bard, but there are some who swear by them; it all depends on your personal style...

    along these lines. i haven't bought HOW yet, but intend on it soon. my question is if i install HOW can i start a new game then import my characters from my current game and still get all the add ons from the expansion? also, on that note, how difficult is it to import characters like this? this is my first experiance with a d&d game, and i'm just full of questions. thanks for any help

    If you install HoW, you can continue your game from where you are, you don't need to start a new one. All areas of IWD are available, and all the areas of HoW are available as long as you can get to Kuldahar.

    I have never imported my people, so I can't say, but I have heard that it's easy enough to do...
