Why is it that a BLUE dragon has a GREEN dragon for a son?

EDIT: can some mod please change the mispelling on the topic to Abazigal. It's starting to irritate me as it keeps reminding me of my stupidity.

    As you wish. ;)

The logical answer would be that the blue dragon's mate was a yellow dragon, if such a thing exists... ;)

Actually a yellow dragon does exist in D&D so your idea has merit.

Is it just me, or did anyone else get that green dragon Draconis using the BROWN dragon breath?

That's what happens to young dragons that don't brush their teeth every night... ;)
