Hi guys! Your favourite italian ranger around (well, probably the only one you've ever met in your life...) is back in action! I've taken a huge pause from this palce 'cause it was absorbing my life too much...so probably I will decrease the number of my future visits, but don't cry, you're always in my heart SPers!
    :hahaerr:
Ok, I'll stop the bull****s and start my brand new astounding thread on Whatnots? (at first look it seems that the spam is still strong in this place ;) ).
So as the topic says, what's the most special trip/holiday you've ever done in you life? It could be a summer vacation, an Erasmus students project, a trip to a foreign country or in your own nation...briefly, whatever comes to your mind that fits in the thread. Describe it and explain why it was so special.
Of course, as a King of Lazyness I will not add my personal experience right now because the message is long enough for my poor fingers, but I'll come soon :p :D .

Hard to choose. Each one was in a way special. Perhaps the first abroad one. I was 10 and my mother went for 3 months to the Luxembourg branch of the bank she works for. I paid her a two weeks visit. On weekends we went to Belgium. Those beautiful old cities ;)

I've been on Interrail ( a month through Europe by train) three times and I had the best times during those trips. I've seen a lot of Eastern and Southern Europe and all I want is to go back to the places I've been to and see more of them...

I went to Tasmania with my family a couple of years ago. It would have been 2 years ago. Me and my big brother complained alot, but it wasnt too bad. I quite liked it actually. Its very small, but really beautiful.

Crete when i was about ten my father was transferred for two years in Crete and we went there during christmas holiday the first time. The whole trip to Crete was fun (the wind was at 10 Beaufort (spelling?)) and we spent 12 hours in the ship in the harbour and another 12 sailing. And my first impression of Crete was "Mummy these people speak Greek!!" I was a clever boy eh :D .
Anyway the whole holidays were like a fairy tale with a lot of delicious food, fun and sightseeing.
It was then that i decided that i want someday to move to Crete, my last visit this summer enhanced this feeling.
