A player that runs mp4?

    Does anyone know of a media player etc. that you can download for free and has the ability to run mp4 files?

    I'd suggest VideoLAN player.

    Quicktime Player 7? That's what I use..oh and Media Player Classic (preferably with a codec pack)

    Doesnt iTunes use m4p? or are they not the same?

    Oh I don't have iTunes...

    Anyway thanks for the suggestions guys...I didn't quite understand some of them so I didn't get them but I found a player called VLC instead which works.

    Yeah, VLC does everything media-related except playlists best of all the players out there, big reccomendation.

    Okay, thanks. :) Although I've noticed that when I pause on VLC it seems to take a while to respond. Is that normal or is it just my file?

    Try BS Player instead (get the last version that still comes without ads; Google it). I've tried VLC on two different computers and the playback was abysmal both times. It wouldn't play half of the video files properly, whereas I've never had a single issue with BS Player.
