I do not consider myself to be an older gamer but for your information I am 43 and I have been gaming for more years than you've been alive. I post to many forums across the net. I still see no reason for your reaction to the name of my post. I have never encountered such a reaction. But if I have caused you and your moderators some distress I do apologize. Though I must admit I still find it a bit petty. Anyways, if it is your preference that I not post here so be it I never will again. As far as trying to make you look stupid goes I have much better things to do with my time than to waste in such a way.

[IMG] It is not very difficult to follow the faq, and we are all trying to keep up the high quality of these boards. Almost all new people who come here get some kind of a reaction from the moderators, but they usually survive it. So should you. Just follow the rules and be happy ;).

The ShadowWalker - You are taking this much too seriously. Nobody is asking you to leave, but the Boards O'Magick FAQ lays out the rules we'd like everyone who posts here to follow as best they can. When we see departures from the rules, especially from newcomers, we remind them of the rules and ask that they read the FAQ as they were asked to when registering. You are not a special case, and we are not singling you out for some bizarre reason. Take Taluntain's comments in your other thread for what they are: Reminder's of the rules, and a defense of your further questioning the reasons behind his first comment.

Now, you get my comment: As the FAQ states, if you have a question or problem with a particular poster or moderator, send an email to them directly, do not post about it. It is also inappropriate to post non-IWD posts in the IWD forum. So, once again, we the moderators of the Boards O'Magick ask that you read and follow the rules as stated in the FAQ.
