BG2 assumes you finished the first game with the PC, Minsc, Jaheira, Dynaheir, Imoen and Khalid. No mention of Kivan.

But doesn't he pop up in the The Darkest Day mod somewhere in the Umar Hills?

[IMG] There is actually a mod that allows you to have most of your npcs from BGI (including kivan, xan, safana, branwen, etc..) imported into BGII.
The catch is that they don't have any interactions, dialogues and such so it's basically like playing a multiplayer game by yourself  .

[IMG] Kivan shows up in Umar Hills with The Darkest Day mod installed. The best NPC (Archer) of the lot from that mod, in my opinion.

Use this code to create a useless version of Kivan...

CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("Kivan") He sucks a lot. I think he's only level 5, but if you love him that much...

Kivan was by far the best character in BG1, thought they seem to kill of the best people in BG2 e.g Khalid, Dynaheir and of course Kivan :wail:

Well, you can always download Rutkowski's(That's Me) conversion but as said before, no interactions, just enchanted classes and some abilities to make them fit the game.

They haven't actually killed Kivan in BG2. He's just not there full stop.

It's in the relevant section on SP although it's a couple hundred MBs in size so don't bother if you haven't got broadband.
