Individual Damage Listing

i saw some screen shots, (here i believe) from a battle at the begining of BG2. the damage each character handed out was listed in the Dialogue Window; Imoen does 10 damage or something like that.

thats sweet, and i am guessing that this is a new feature that can be turned on. i hope i didn't miss this in BG or IWD, but i didn't see a button to enable an option like this in either game.

You can have both to hit and damage statistics visible in BG1, actually. In the options menu choose gameplay, then "feeback". I don't know if this is something only available with TotSC, because I only discovered it recently (after I achieved it in Icewind Dale by fiddling with the .ini file).
Hope you have fun with it! It's getting a bit tedious for me.

[IMG] Simon, I think you and Wingfoot are saying two different things. When I play IWD during combat it will say "orc damage teken (8)" or what ever. Wingfoot is saying that he saw BG2 tell you who did 8 damage to the Orc. I didn't see that feature in IWD or BG. If I turn on the 'to hit rolls' I get a lot of number - not real exciting - but I'd like to know _who_ did the damage to the monster. I think I got that right. Did I Wingfoot?

[IMG] yeah, you sure did Voltric. i also have 'to hit rolls' enabled in IWD. it is alot of numbers, but it shows saving throws and lets you know if you hit, but it just a pain to sift through all the numbers to figure out who did what damage.

Yeah, I found that feature really useful in IWD for figuring out which weapons were the most effective.

    [IMG] Sorry, Wingfoot! Duh.
Seeing who does what damage would be much more personal and satisfying than anonymous to-hit-rolls.
