That is exactly the reason I was asking about the PP progression with dual-classed characters.
Psionicists get more PP per level than warriors and I feared that when dual-classed they would be locked out of the psionicists PP until you surpassed the gladiator level.

BTW, if you enjoy grinding, I recommend the Disgaea series. I've only been trying Disgaea 1, but there is a lot of grinding in the item world to get the residents you desire.

Update: if you are taking your party into WotR, you need at least 1 high level thief. A lot of lock-picking and trap-disarming seems to work off the thief level. Not explicitly tested each level but I suspect an L8 thief should be fine within a dual class, or any type of multiclass thief.

Just putting up a text version of the translation of items from Darksun 1 to Darksun 2 in case anyone wants to provide updates or clarifications. Stuff with ? I was never able to verify.

Oh oh oh. I finally found the stupid buried treasure in the Elven Caravan. Although it's buried, you're not supposed to "dig it up" :D You just walk around the grassy area south of Kel's wagon and you'll "find" it lol

I've done this successfully several times. However, you have not described what issue you are coming up against so I cannot give a less generic reply. For me it was as simple as loading DosBox, switching to the Darksun2 directory (after mounting the Games folder), and running CharTran.exe. Then I enter my DS1 folder, DS2 folder, select which Save I want to transfer and it's done.

Trying to start the chartran sequence automatically closes the program. I put the games into folders called Dark Sun and Dark Sun 2. I don't have a completed save however, is that the issue?

Possibly, I haven't tried except with the end game save. Also I've only tried it with DOSbox on XP computers. I haven't bothered installing it on anything newer.

Not sure what you mean by "completed save" -- any save works. Also, the way you describe the problem, I'm not clear on when exactly the program aborts, or how you are trying to launch it. I'm also not sure what you mean by "chartran sequence".

Without knowing full details, here are some random suggestions:
    1) Remove spaces from your folder names if you have any.
    2) I have this in my dosbox.conf. Obviously, replace the path with your games folder, and place the command under the already existing [autoexec]:
    Code:
    [autoexec]
    mount C "C:\Program Files\Games\"
    3) Launch DosBox (not CharTran) from Windows. Switch to C:. If you did (2) correctly, C: is NOT your true C: anymore. It is your Games folder. The following should launch the app, assuming correct folder names:
    Code:
    cd Darksun2
    CharTran
As a last resort, if you want, upload your saves somewhere and I'll transfer it/them for you. Gdrive, Filetransfer.io are fine with me.

FYI, I'm on Windows 7 Professional though I am dead sure this has nothing to do with Windows version because DosBox is a sandbox in itself, much like a Java applet.
