    Welp, I suppose I'm the first newcomer posting in...eight/nine months now.

    Name's WanderingInTamriel, Wit for short. Or Rex/Chrys--shortenings of other usernames I've had around the internet. Twenty-nine years old, male, USA.

    As the username suggests, I'm a huge fan of the Elder Scrolls series; started with Morrowind back in 2003 at the tender age of nine years old and the series has since become my favorite game series. It's what inspired my writing hobby, and I still work on fanfiction related to it.

    Other games I love include the Assassin's Creed, Deus Ex, and the Legend of Zelda series.

    Aside from gaming, I spend a lot of time playing chess (mostly online) and listening to history documentaries.

    From the preliminary read-throughs of some threads here and there, I gather this place seems like a pretty chill place. So, hello.

    I think I might've been born in just the right window of time (1994) to have been smacked by the potent combination of "too young to really get into early internet culture" and "too busy with school" to have really done more exploring around the net years ago.

    But hey, even if it turns out that I've arrived only to observe the progression of this place's twilight years, hello all the same. I love discovering little nerdy corners of the internet.

    Hello crew. I just resurrected my account to see what's happening at Taluntain's place.
    I used to be known as Lord Moeken and I was one of the early members here - probably around 23 years ago when BG2 was all the rage. Now I'm just Moeken.

    I haven't been playing games much for the past few decades with my time being absorbed by family and work and moving around, but now my children are grown and BG3's been released. :)
