How to put items in container...

    In icewind dale EE I have to place so called "Badges" in a container (a Puzzle).

    But How do I place those Badges in a certain container ??? I have read the manual but I don't understand that piece of text.

    Thanks in advance!

    EDIT: It wasn't a matter of placing, I just had to press some buttons... Anyhow, thanks reading!

    I honestly don't recall the badges at all, is that something new in EE or has it just been too long since I did a complete play-through?
    I think I've only played ToTLM once due to difficulty with sound on my old computer, but I installed it on an older laptop and played with that.

    Time to replay. I can't recall the last time I actually played the game, I think it was that mild summer I was unemployed and played ToTL on my XP laptop while sitting on the porch taking advantage of good weather and being out of work.
