Can anyone help with stuck romance?

    Hi all, I posted this on reddit but hoping I might also find help here. I've frequented this site many times over the last two decades but infrequent poster. I need help with my current playthru where I believe my romance with Viconia is stuck. I'm worried about continuing play without resolving it. Pasted from my other post:
    Right now, in my save, these are the related variables:

    Global:
    • VICONIACHECKMAD2 - 1
    • VICONIAJOINEDPARTY - 0 (?)
    • VICONIAMATCH - 1
    • VICONIAPARTYBG2 - 1
    • VICONIAROMANCE - 9147502
    • VICONIAROMANCEACTIVE - 2
    • VICONIASUMMONED - 2
    • VICONIAVAMPIRE - 6

    • LOVETALK on the local variables tab is 77.
    So I completed the romance I believe correctly and finished BG2. Started ToB and have so far done the first trial and defeated Gromnir. As yet, she hasn't rekindled the romance yet and I'm getting worried since I believe it should have restarted before now. It also looks like her dialogue is broken. If I try talking to her, she only says, "Why do you waste my time with idle banter?"

    If I "Reform Party" and kick her out (then reinvite her) I get this bizarre exchange. "Goodnight, ladies, ladies, goodnight." and so on.

    I don't mind restarting ToB if necessary as I'm not far in. The game is modded, unsurprisingly, and I don't have the know-how to untangle this. So I'm pleading for help. Is there a console command to fix this, or a combination of the above variables I can set to get it (re)started? Could VICONIAJOINEDPARTY be to blame (I would think it should be 1)? Most grateful for any help with my sincerest thanks in advance!.

    The dialog is changed, then, or damaged. Check with and editor the associated ToB dialog, the condition for advancing the romance (compare it to the Aerie one). I don't have ToB installed at this moment, so can't help more.

    Thank you for the reply. It was upsetting that it happened after some hours of gameplay. Without a simple fix, I stopped playing and made only half-hearted efforts to fix it. My post was two weeks ago, which is almost how long it went on hold.

    I reverted to my Hell save, and the dialogue was broken, but the autosave at the start of Suldanesselar was fine. So I played back thru as far as Hell and so far it's still working. I'm not sure what caused it to break, but I will pick it up again soon. It really broke the flow and without the ability to fix it easily I think it's easier to replay and hope it stays working! I'm talking to her every 5 minutes now to make sure I get the line (I'm staying with you as a soldier...).
