    Although both of the PCs I'd anticipated playing BT-4 on have i5 Quads, and decent GPUs, I really hadn't checked the requirements until the release is almost on us (three days). They want 3.3 GHz Intel Quads, Both of mine are 3.1 GHz. There's some GPU confusion, though, since an R7 290 is a much less powerful card than a Geforce GTX 970, but a GTX 750 Ti is my own fastest card!

    (Grump, Grumble, Curse, etc.)

    I've done it before, bought a game before I owned the required hardware . . but I remain a devotee of "hard media". I'm extremely adverse to Steam and its ilk. There doesn't seem to be any immediate information whether I'll have to wait ages, as was the case of PoE, or if it will be available on disk immediately.
