Give that I have not bought any of the EE's, chances are roughly 100% that I won't buy this one either. Sorry for such a non-detailed response. :p

Out of all the enhanced edition's so far, this is the one that has caught my attention the least - though i'll probably pick it up further down the line when it's on sale.

Like dmc, I haven't bought any of the EEs so far, and, given that the updates for the EEs so far were largely cosmetic, I'm not really seeing the point of updating NWN. I mean, it hardly needs 1080p compatibility, it has that out of the box.

If they put out something worth buying, which they currently haven't.

it peaked my interest as I saw that DLC they were putting out with it. But waiting on details on how the dlc will work with it.

Would be nice if they kept backwards compatibility for mods, if I start up NWN, it's typically mods, not the official campaigns.

It looks like they'll have backwards compatability. So the big sell here is just slightly better graphics? Meh. It doesn't look all that good, and I don't foresee playing the original campaign over again. (Hordes was fun, but the sheer repetitiveness of the orginal campaign is a tough slog.)

Even the BG EEs had interface updates, new characters, and other adds. Let me know if they come out with a new campaign or if some bang-up user mods come out.

I don't really see the point tbh. I was not overly impressed with their original content for the other enhanced editions (haven't played the IWD or PS:T enhanced editions), so additional content is hardly going to be a selling point for me, and so far it looks like they're not really adding anything worthwhile graphically.

IWD EE is good. Mostly because there is no Beamdog content, just bg2 engine and classes and spells and scrolls. Just what IWD needed.

If they had ported it to the NWN2 engine and fixed that up I would've considered buying it on release. Since they aren't I won't touch it.

In terms of controls (including camera controls), I think NWN did it better than NWN2, though. In terms of the implementation of the ruleset, NWN2 has more options for character creation and levelling, so porting that over would be nice.

I thought camera controls felt about the same and SoZ pushes NWN2 to being outright better. I haven't played the base game of either since release though. What did you find better with NWN's camera?

The radial menu is more convenient at times but it's clunky for spells.

It's possible to set up NWN2's camera in mostly the same way as the camera in NWN, but it seems always more zoomed in to me. I like overview, and if the camera's too close, I continuously feel like I need to zoom out a bit more.

The radial menu is more convenient for at least some things, but I'm pretty sure that the NWN2 way of selecting spells is also possible in NWN. Though it's been a while since I last played NWN, and even longer ago that I played a spellcaster.

I would be interested but I have a lot more games at the moment than time (or money) so I might wait for a sale. One question would be what all do they update? Definitely they need to improve the graphics but I wonder if they also improve the AI of the companions. AI is an area that has improved a lot since release of NWN1. I mean the caster companions such as the gnome sorcerer had completely unplayable AI. He would just cast all of his spells including cantrips until they are gone and then he is just a low BAB/AB crossbowgnome. If they updated him you should be able to have choice of spells to cast such as maybe some mixture of buffs and direct damage and then the AI that uses his spells should be greatly updated at least to as good as NWN2 with expansions with a detailed behavior settings.

Edit: just an example is if he could cast extended greater invisibility that would make a huge difference. As it was if I recall he only casts direct damage spells and he casts all of them until they are gone whether fighting a rat or an enemy immune to magic.
