Icewind Dale 2 - Known bug?

    I am doing my first run in Icewind Dale 2 and am stuck in Dragon's Eye - Level Four. Each time I exit from the exit below the entrance it sends me to another "day" as it's called, to see the story unfold itself backwards. Right now I am on day 4 and I have the OK to exit according to the game but I can't click the cave below the entrance to leave. I have gone back, talked to everyone, even killed a few times to get a result but nothing. Is there a fix to this or a popular way of getting around this?
