    I'll miss at least the info inside that scroll-like box at the charakter tab.
    Gives a nostalgic feeling that is missing in the more streamlined enhanced version.
    Also the classic pause button animation is missing :(.
    Nevertheles, I'm thrilled to play the EE very soon.

    I also miss the text information in the scrollbox.

    But the GUI is indeed very beautiful, nevertheless.

    Can portrait packs be used because the portrait selection is pathetic. Guess I am Just use to being able to use the portraits from Baldurs Gate 2 as well as the other infinity games rolled into a single pack for all the games since its so easy to to.

    You can use custom soundsets and portraits same as in the original game.

    1) Go to your User(s) folder. You know, the one that has My Pictures, My Music and so on. Look for My Documents, then Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition.

    2) There you create a folder called Portraits (with a capital P), and that's where you placed your custom portraits. Mind that the dimensions are different now:

    Large: 210x330 (not really necessary, so don't worry if you don't have it)
    Medium: 169x266
    Small: 54x84

    Now you will notice that when choosing your portrait, a CUSTOM button appears right beneath the portrait you're currently seeing.

    Also remember that file names cannot have spaces, need to be 8-chars long at maximum, and also require the letter S, M or L, according to their size. Ex;: xxxL.bmp, xxxM.bmp, xxxS.bmp

    Taken from another guy who compiled the information from a bunch of other people on the official forums lol.
    NOTE: different size portraits now. Time to start creating a bunch from scratch :).

    Yeah I have noticed that as my old ones are 2 small now and it sucks seeing a bunch of wasted black space around both the large portrait and the small one. I have already ran into a major bug where I can not not deselect all my characters meaning I am stuck with all my characters selected meaning I can not use spells and skills because of it.
