I do kickboxing training with my friend. We do a 45 min routine, which ends with a torture period of push ups, sit ups, chin ups on a bar, ect.

I also live not far from the job I started three weeks ago, so I go to work on my bike now... :)

Ten years ago, I used to play soccer (2 training sessions and a match each week), I swam a few hours and I cycled about 250 km / 155 miles per week. But I do nothing anymore. I walk about 10 or 15 minutes to the railway station (or 5 min by bike). Can't really say that's exercise. :p

Last time I tried a sport, my salivary glands swell like... well, morningglory and I nearly puked. That was a game of squash. I had great fun and was very enthusiastic about it. I pwnd them all. :)

Just curious Triactus, how far away is your new job?

Working in a car parts warehouse at the heavy stuff department will do a lot.

Adding field-hockey to it, kept me at 102 KG for 6 years in a row. Still a bit to fat.

Well, not far so I guess it shouldn't even count as exercise. It takes me about 6-8 mins to get to work...

You play hockey? What position do you play?

Hehe! Wow! that's nice. In this little country we have the idea that North Americans live at least 1 hour driving from their work and that it's considered close by. Five mins on bike is even close for Dutch standards. :D
Still, people should never underestimate the effects of 15 mins cycling on a day!

    Caving

I cave when I have some free time, which is not often enough. Some call it Spelunking , but generally Cavers look at Spelunking as those who grab a flashlight and go into a cave (then we have to rescue them because they got lost....). We are a bit more organized then that, you can check out more about what I do for fun by looking at the following link - http://www.caves.org/committee/salons/Slide_2011_Winners.shtml .

Hah :) I dislike public transportation so when I don't have access to my bike I just walk. Outside of the city center it's really quiet at night, so walking home from the pub is just a good way to get the alcohol to settle :D

Still doing my daily 17km/~10 mile bike commute, in every weather, short of ice and snow. Low temperatures, wind and rain don't deter me, and I pride myself on it. Benefits include a comfortable endurance and that I (so far) haven't really been ill throughout the year, even when flu, or something flu-ish, raged around me.

I, however, regret that I can't bring myself to run regularly, too. I miss that. And I'd need to do more for my back, too.

Good to see you are still doing P90X.

I try to do P90X or P90 when I am not injured. LOL. It seems like every time I get into the 60th day of working out with P90 or P90X I get injured.

My most recent injury occurred in late September. I hit day 60 and was working out, not sure which video now, but as I was streching I felt a sharp pain throughout the bottom of my left foot. Low and behold I could barely walk and am still in pain today. Some days I don't feel anything and other days it is so bad I can't walk around my house. After feeling bad about this condition for the last 10 weeks I am going to try P90X once again. Starting yesterday I did about 15 minutes of Cardio X. My goal right now is to complete the full Cardio X video without too much trouble by 12/31 and starting on 1/1/12 I will do Strech X and starting 1/2 I will do P90X classics.

This time, I am going to be a bit more careful about how I place my feet when I do plyometrics, I believe that might have been the video that caused my injury by accidently handing on the heel when completing one of the many jumping exercises.

Just last night, my shipment of P90X2 arrived in the mail. I'm starting that for the new year. I'm glad it came - I started doing P90X about a year and half ago, and while I will admit that it has greatly improved my fitness, after 18 months the program starts to get old. However, now that I have two sets of videos, I'll have some more options.
