    henkie,

Think Baseball....715 refers to Hank Aaron hitting career Home Run number 715. Which broke the record of Babe Ruth's 714. Babe Ruth was an immortal from teh 20s and 30s and Aaron was a Black man breaking the greatest record of what many ignorant people at that time thought to be a white sport. There was a lot of resentment toward Aaron when he approached the record breaking. Aaron was a very humble man and held his chin up and brushed off the insults.

    Damn... Ninja'd.

Hmm hard to pick out one, but it will probably be a hockey one.
    - Pavel Bure scoring in double OT vs Calgary in the Canuck's 1993 Stanley Cup run
    - Jarome Iginla hits the post on an empty net with 10 s left, and then Canucks go up ice and score the game tying goal to force OT.
    - 2002 Olympics Ice hockey - the Canadian women won gold despite getting penalty after penalty after penalty... then the men win.

Munster Final 2004. Not just a glorious victory for the Déise but it's often cited as possibly the greatest hurling game of all time. The first half some fantastic scores were traded between the teams. Then one of the Waterford players decided to respond to the defender's niggles by clocking him in front of the officials. Things looked like they were going to slip away from us before Paul Flynn slammed a free to the back of the net from a good forty yards away and put us in front. Both teams then went hell for leather until the end of the match which finished with us a point in front.

-Jordan Eberle sinking the Russians with a goal to tie the game at 5 with 5 seconds left in the 2009 World Jr, then scoring the SO winner.

    -Crosbys OT goal.

-Watching my beloved Penguins win two Stanley Cups as a 9 and 10 year old. Then as a 26 year old man getting to see it again.
