Two game mechanic questions I've forgotten

    What was the difference between the Brown Bear and the Black Bear when it comes to a druid's wildshapes in the game besides the color? I can't recall the difference, and I can't figure it out. I know one was stronger than the other in BG1, but that is irrelevant in BG2.

    What exactly does the standard Bard Song do, and how does it improve with level ups? I thought it was basically the same as the 2nd level arcane spell "luck"l, but I might be thinking of BG1. If it doesn't improve, How does it differ from the Blade's song? I know this has been asked before, but I can't find the thread with the answer. A technical answer with game mechanics would be preferred.

    Like you said, the bears bear negligible difference.

    Bard songs are pretty broken, so I suggest you install the relevant parts of rogue rebalancing / song & silence. More info is available there.
