    Rest in grease.

Ok, that was a little mean, but how stupid can one be? And what an abomination that restaurant is (the the 'nurses', on the other hand, are inviting). I mean, many people are big, but to ingest that amount of calories - 4k, 6k or even 8k - is madness. A physically hard working human (taking River's size, an estimated weight of 110kg) needs a daily dose of about 2650 calories*. Everything beyond that is, quite literally, excess.

It is exceedingly implausible that his early death had nothing to do with his obesity. Men just don't usually die from pneumonia at the age of 29.

I just feel the need to add, if you have the opportunity to go to a "Heart Attack Grill", I highly recommend it. I wouldn't make it a lifestyle choice and I don't believe the vast majority of the diners come close to finishing the meal, but it is an experience.

If one where to share one burger amongst 2-4 people, it might be a good deal :)

I read something about free meals for anyone at about 150 kg or above, really strange place.

I'll take a quadruple nurse. Not so interested in the burgers. At all.

Are you trying to tell Ragusa something? I knew you didn't like his posts and all, but.... :p

Hah, thanks, but no thanks. Like dmc I'd take quadruple nurse over a quadruple bypass burger any day. At worst, it is also a better way to die :xx:

[IMG] As long as they changed their uniforms first. They'd stink of grease and old food otherwise, blech!

Part of me is a little nauseated by the excess inherent in the restaurant concept. Excess is common enough at many restaurants ("all you can eat!") but this place appears to revel in it and not only ignore healthy eating ideas, but actively oppose them and thumb its nose at them.

Now, I don't eat healthy foods nearly often enough. I acknowledge that. And I don't want some double digit IQ server offering me "low fat" options when I go out to eat -- what I eat is my business. But this place is something . . . . alien. To actively encourage, referencing the bad health quality of the food, and then deliberately overserving (I reference the comment made earlier that most people don't come close to finishing the meal) and wasting that much food is grotesque and immoral.

I don't think the place should be closed down by the government or anything, but I can tell you this -- they'd never get any business from me.
