    I always wonder if it is less painful if the dead is sudden as with car crash or not.

    My mom had a 6 months deathbed due to lung-cancer(smoking) a few years back and it did not hurt at all. It was salvation in a certain way.

    Yesterday was one of the first Saturdays in a while that I got to spend pretty much the entire day with my family. I've been working 7 days a week for many months, and usually have to bow out of family plans to keep up with my work commitments. Yesterday, though, the stars aligned properly, and I was out with my family nearly the entire day. It was awesome. Greatly needed. Oddly enough, today my wife has been far more affectionate than normal. Hmm... I wonder if there's a connection.

    Thanks. The funeral is on Friday but then we're taking her ashes back to Nottingham (about 2 hours away) to be buried with my Granpa and that's not going to be for another month or so. Closure don't come quick in this family!

    Rough week. Caught the flu and a sinus infection. I must be cursed.:( That combo gave me a headache that was worse than any hangover I have ever had. And I've had a few rough ones thaks to my friends Jose & Telly. Though I never had a sinus-infection before. I have come to the conclusion that they are quite "suckie"....

    sinus infection here as well, bacteria. Probably inevitable after carnival. Had fever yesterday, but so far am better today. What surprises me is that it progresses from stage to stage so quickly. I went from sore throat, to clogged sinuses to a beginning cough in two days. If it goes on like that it may just be over soon. I won't complain.
