Yesterday evening there was someone in the forum who asked about soundfiles for BG1 (dwarf). As i was drunk i was too stupid to explain, and i sat at the false PC. But it must be explained somewhere on sorcerers or otherwise i wouldn't have known it.
The soundfiles are .wavs and you can make your own ones. Take a microphone. Bla Bla. Use a wave-programm. And then you have to give them special names yournamea.wav, yournameb.wav and so on.
Look at the sounddirectory in your BG and check the sounds you find there. Each letter before .wav indicates a special situation.
A dwarfs voice can be your own voice. ;)

    Check the installation directory.
There are a couple of text files in it.
One of them explains how it works,
and how the files should be named.
I believe it is the readme.txt file.
I'd look it up for you and post the info myself,
but I dont have BGI installed.
I need all the space I can get to download Manga.
