Has anyone tried this NPC from G3? I started a new BG2 game after a long break and decided to test some NPCs for a change. Tyris has exceeded my expectations so far: excellent Bioware-style portrait(s), nicely done voicing and pretty good theme music too. Banters haven't so far been painfully long-winded, quite the opposite, and she seems pretty well balanced. What I usually don't like in mods is that the content is very different from the original game. Given that Tyris is from a another game, she blends in really well. Besides, fire-hurling amazons are hot :p

I heard good things on this NPC, but I'm anxiously waiting the TOB part to prove it.:rolling:
The author says it will be released "Maybe after Christmas"...

I can't speak for the mod, but I loved the Golden Axe games. I remember playing them all over and over with a girl friend. I was the dwarf or the panther and she was tyris.

I actually want to test this NPC out on my next play though now!

I added her to a recent party for a little while. She was pretty entertaining. It's just that a Dual Fighter Mage is almost overkill in BG2. I love the build and find it very easy to beat the game when using it. I prefer my NPCs to be of "Lesser" builds and funnier comments to make the game more challenging and entertaining at the same time. I think using NPCs like Silverstar, weak-stated but comical in way, more appealing.
